Group therapy can be very beneficial for people dealing with similar issues or concerns (examples: grief, divorce, illness, anxiety, depression), and specific skill building such as managing anger. Groups are always led by licensed therapists who teach skills, lead healing processes, and offer guidance to each participant to support one another’s therapeutic journey.
Losing your companion and a part of your family, can be heart-wrenching, no matter the circumstances. You may be experiencing many emotions at once, such as shock, disbelief, anger, sorrow, or guilt. All of these feelings are a normal part of the grief process. It is important to take the time to grieve. I invite you to join me in this nonjudgmental group environment where your loss will be acknowledged, and support will be provided. For details on sessions and dates, see our Pet Loss Support Flyer.
