Lynn has experience working with anxiety and panic disorders, depression/mood disorders and alcohol and substance use disorders. Her practice also includes treating individuals with dual diagnoses, coping with medical issues/diagnoses, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Lynn has provided counseling to adults, children, families, and couples for over 20 years. Her strength lies in the ability to tailor her work to the specific needs of each client and to utilize appropriate evidence-based treatment modalities. She values diversity and has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of cultures and ethnic groups. Lynn's work also includes advocacy and assisting clients navigating the medical and mental health systems.
Lynn has training in evidenced-based models include: CBT, Solution- focused Therapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques and CBT Stress Reduction Methods. Her areas of interests include: brain plasticity, body, mind, spirit connection, aging adults and individuals negatively affected by toxic vs health religion.
